As the website grows more information will be added along with background information on what we do and hope to achieve with our research, how investigation equipment works and also any EVP clips we collect along the way which we hope to be able to use as evidence of life after death.

So what is the paranormal? Is paranormal activity on the increase?

Paranormal and supernatural activities are not on the increase, it's just that we are more aware of them than we were a few generations ago. We also live in a time where countries all over the world now allow talk about ghosts and so the paranormal become an acceptable source of conversation.

A few centuries ago, any talk of seeing ghosts led to a dungeon or even death.

With more and more of the world having access to the internet, people are learning to share their paranormal experiences. We are able to talk freely about witnessing paranormal activity without fear of retribution. This could give the impression that paranormal activities are on the rise.

Paranormal activities are actually quite normal and happen constantly, we just don't always see it. Scientists have determined that we don't consciously register everything that we see, if we did, we'd never get anywhere.

A British scientist on artificial intelligence, Dr. Max Clowes, referred to human vision as "controlled hallucination". In this case, it's what we don't see that has helped us get along through life. Due to the construction of the eye, we see everything as upside-down. However, our brains have learned to flip over all images taken in with the eyes.

There are even instances where people can see things that they can't see with their physical eye and yet they know something is there. There are also many natural colors like infra red and ultra violet that we cannot see without the aid of mechanical devices. Some insects, birds and animals are able to see these colors. Are they seeing something paranormal? Technically, yes, as what they see is not the normal color spectrum we humans can see. Since it's outside the range of what we can normally see, then it's "paranormal".

So there is nothing to fear. The spirits are not out to get us, trying to take over the world, nor are they increasing their paranormal activities. All that is happening is just that we are finally acknowledging their existence
